  • Surescripts' annual National Progress Report reveals current e-prescribing rates. To read more about these findings.
  • Amida Technology Solutions, along with others in industry, advocacy, and policy, is participating in an online petition to gather signatures to support the need for consumers to have electronic access to their personal health information.
  • eHealth Technologies announced that it received national recognition as one of the “Healthiest Companies in America” by Interactive Health, the country’s leading provider of health management solutions. eHealth Technologies was one of 158 honorees recognized for implementing life-changing preventive programs in the workplace.
  • athenahealth, along with two other vendors, were reported to be at the top of their game when it comes to increasing portal adoption throughout the patient population. More than half of the customers under all three vendors report that at least 20 percent of their patients have accessed the patient portal. This is well above the previous 5 percent threshold that CMS initially unrolled under Stage 2 Meaningful Use regulations.
  • Validic secured a $12.5 million Series B round led by Kaiser Permanente Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Kaiser Permanente. With this investment, Validic is going to continue to build out their team, product offerings, client and device reach, and will continue to fuel the utilization of digital health data in the transformation of healthcare.
