- EHI provides our membership with critical information they need to stay ahead of trends:
- eHI weekly member newsletter, monthly member briefings and up-to-date website cover the latest issues in Congress, the Administration, and the States
- Public Policy Tracking at the National Level. eHI tracks information what is happening related to health IT on Capitol Hill and within the Administration, providing this information to eHI members only through the weekly eHI newsletter. A more detailed analysis of policies is provided in the eHI Members Only section of the eHI web site.
- Tracking Health IT Policy Within the States. eHI also tracks state legislative activity and Governors executive orders on the eHI's State Policy Tracking System, also located on the eHI web site.
- eHI's Annual Survey of Health Information Exchange at the State, Regional and Community Levels is the most widely quoted resource on multi-stakeholder collaborative efforts focused on health IT and health information exchange at the local level. The 2008 survey will be released in September 2008.
- eHI's Toolkit offers leaders from every sector of healthcare practical guidance and advice on how to navigate the organizational, financial, communications-related, and technical challenges of mobilizing information electronically, as well as key policies related to privacy and confidentiality.
- eHI's Blueprint represents the first-ever, multi-stakeholder consensus document on principles, strategies and roadmaps for how national, state and local leaders can utilize health IT and health information exchange in engaging consumers, informing care delivery, and improving population health, while managing privacy and confidentiality. The Blueprint also offer principles, strategies and a roadmap for financing these important changes. The Blueprint includes five major areas of focus:
