Health Care Reform and the passage of the Accountable Care Act have the Health IT community moving at full speed. Due to the overwhelming number of questions around Accountable Care Organizations (ACO), eHI has put together an advisory council that will research and support health information technology efforts related to ACOs.  This Council will assist in educating stakeholders about the new role of ACOs and comment on new ACO regulations as they relate to HIT and HIE.  The Council will survey members about the HIT infrastructure and ACO requirements that are needed.  It will serve to gather resources for the website which can be effectively leveraged for other eHI members.
