Leadership of the Connecting for Drug Safety Collaboration

The Connecting for Drug Safety Collaboration is coordinated and led by the eHealth Initiative, a non-profit, multi-stakeholder organization whose mission is to improve the quality, safety and efficiency of health care through information and information technology, whose multi-stakeholder Leadership Council provides overall strategic guidance to the initiative.

A National Advisory Board has been established for the Collaboration to provide guidance to the effort and provide input to the development of the technical, legal, and communications-related tools, which will be made widely available to accelerate the creation of an active drug safety surveillance system in the U.S. through the use of health IT and health information exchange.
