Introduction to the Key Elements
The principles, strategies and actions of the eHI blueprint are the result of collaboration and consensus on a set of collective actions that together will improve America's health and healthcare through information and information technology. They describe the activities stakeholders can undertake, which stakeholders should undertake them, the reasoning for those activities, interdependancies and timelines. The strategies and actions are organized into the five areas as described by the "Framework for the eHI Blueprint":

- Improving Population Health
