About: Acknowledgements
The eHealth Initiative would like to acknowledge and extend its thanks to the nearly 200 organizations who lent their leadership, expertise, and support to the development of the eHealth Initiative Blueprint: Building Consensus for Common Action.
eHealth Initiatives Leadership Council, led by eHealth Initiative President, John Tooker, MD, MBA, FACP and eHealth Initiative Foundation President, Jeffrey Kang, MD, MPH, with executive leadership support by eHealth Initiative and Foundation Chief Executive Officer Janet Marchibroda, provided strategic oversight and guidance to the entire effort.
The eHI Blueprint Committee Co-Chairs, who are listed below, provided leadership and guidance to five Blueprint Committees, made up of numerous eHI members who lent their expertise, experiences, review, and hands-on support to the effort. Each of the five committees was supported by an outstanding team of experts and staff.
Special thanks are in order for Christine Bechtel, eHIs Vice President of Public Policy and Government Relations, who spearheaded the coordination and staffing of the entire Blueprint effort.
eHI would also like to thank its members and the many, many organizations who reviewed and provided input to the Blueprint components.

Valjean McLenighan provided invaluable editorial assistance, supported by Michael J. Berkery of the American Medical Association, for which we are very grateful. The Deloitte Center for Health Solutions provided assistance with an environmental scan and input on web design. The overviews of key initiatives in all five areas of the Blueprint were created by Mary Beth Kiser, as part of the MPH program at George Washington University.
