Jen Covich Jennifer Covich Bordenick
is Chief Executive Officer at the eHealth Initiative and its Foundation in Washington, DC. Since 2002, Jennifer has provided leadership for programs, education and research components of the eHealth Initiative and its Foundation. Her areas of focus have included: health information exchange, regional extension centers, meaningful use, electronic prescribing, care coordination, patient and family engagement in health IT, privacy, drug safety, as well as the intersection of health reform and health IT. Prior to her current position, Jennifer headed up the strategic marketing efforts at two different technology organizations, focusing on solutions for the healthcare industry. She also spent four years at the National Committee for Quality Assurance as Director of Policy and Product Development, helping develop national quality standards for healthcare organizations. Jennifer began her career at the George Washington University, Medical Center and Health Plan working on quality management initiatives and healthcare administration. Jennifer earned a master's degree in Human Resource Development, and bachelor's degree in Psychology. She has also completed coursework in the doctoral program in healthcare administration at the George Washington University in Washington, DC. She resides in Washington, DC with her husband and two children.

Danielle Brooks Danielle J. Brooks
is the Manager of Public Policy at the eHealth Initiative. Her areas of focus include accountable care, care coordination, as well as areas related to policy and the intersection of health information technology and healthcare reform. Before becoming an official member of eHealth Initiative, she worked as a fellow for the organization in 2009. Prior to her time at eHI, Danielle worked as a policy analyst for select delegates in the Virginia Assembly and helped develop the Iowa Accountability Project, a program spearheaded by the Iowa Supreme Court. Ms. Brooks has also worked as a fellow for the Washington Institute of Peace and in the policy department of the Office of the Iowa Governor, Thomas Vilsack, the current Secretary of Agriculture for the United States, and the Commission for the Status of African Americans in the Iowa Human Right Department. Danielle is a graduate of William and Mary School of Law and an Oberlin College alum.

Jonathan Dimsdale

Jonathan Dimsdale
is the Manager of Research and Programs at the eHealth Initiative. His areas of focus include accountable care, health information exchange, care coordination and data analytics. Prior to joining eHI, Jonathan worked abroad in Spain at an international health communication agency, an advocacy group focusing on infectious disease among underserved populations, and a multinational cancer foundation, before returning stateside to research chronic disease prevention among Latin Americans with CDC and the Mexican National Institute of Public Health. Jonathan earned an M.P.H. from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and dual B.A.s in Psychology and Spanish from Tufts University.

Amy Eckenroth Amy Eckenroth
serves as Vice President of Membership and Development for eHealth Initiative. Amy is responsible for managing eHI's current membership, as well as new member and sponsorship revenue. She comes to eHI having most recently served for three years as Director of Major Donor Programs for the League of Conservation Voters, where she was responsible for raising money from individual donors through personal solicitations, direct mail and events. Prior to joining LCV, she was a fundraising consultant for several U.S. House and Senate candidates and numerous non-profit organizations. Amy also served for three years as the Vice President of Development for the Public Forum Institute, where she managed a fundraising operation that raised corporate sponsorship dollars and secured government and foundation grant money. Amy started her career as a Fundraising Associate, working for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, and went on to serve as the District Scheduler in San Francisco for the Majority Leader of the California Assembly. A native of Connecticut, Amy graduated from Villanova University in PA.

Heather Garland Heather Garland
is the Manager of Accounting & Administration for eHealth Initiative. Heather is responsible for the daily accounting of eHealth Initiative and its Foundation. She has over twelve years of experience working in the field of accounting in a variety of industries, including public accounting and government contract accounting, most recently for Council For Logistics Research, a defense contractor. Heather also has worked as a private consultant, assisting small business owners in the DC Metropolitan area with accounting needs, from audit and tax to payroll and reconciliations. Heather holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Jason Goldwater Jason Goldwater
is currently the Vice President of Programs and Research at the eHealth Initiative, a multi-stakeholder, non-profit policy organization in Washington DC that is focused on the use of electronic health to improve the quality, safety and efficiency of health care. Mr. Goldwater has been in the field of health information technology (health IT) for 16 years and has led a number of projects on the utilization of health IT for improved health care delivery. Prior to working at the eHealth Initiative, Mr. Goldwater was a Health IT Project Manager for NORC at the University of Chicago, where he served as the Principal Investigator for a number of projects, including an evaluation of the Strategic Health Advanced Research Projects (SHARP) program and a Study and Report on the Use of Open-Source Health information Technologies for Safety-Net Populations. Mr. Goldwater also worked for SRA International, a systems integrator based in Fairfax, VA, where he led a project to examine the use of clinical decision support systems within the Veterans Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VisTA) EHR system. Mr. Goldwater also spent a decade with the Federal Government, designing software applications to assess the quality of care for older adults in nursing homes and hospitals; examining how State Medicaid data could be used for public health; and how to incorporate public health initiatives, such as immunizations, into State Medicaid programs. Mr. Goldwater has both Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Emerson College and a Master's of Public Administration degree from Suffolk University.

Jason Goldwater LaTisha Hunter
is the Membership Coordinator for eHealth Initiative. In this role, LaTisha is responsible for the day-to-day needs of eHI members and supporting the Vice President of Membership & Development. LaTisha has served in various membership & trade Associations and brings ten years of collaborative knowledge in Association membership. LaTisha has a certificate in Business Management from American Graduate University and is pursuing a BA in Business Administration. LaTisha is also a Notary Public for both Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Diane Jones Diane R. Jones
serves as Vice President for Policy and Government Affairs for the eHealth Initiative. Diane is responsible for directing the development of policy positions and strategies through eHI's multi-stakeholder collaboration process, government affairs advocacy, and works with the eHI education and research department on reports, surveys and white papers that support the eHI strategic goals. Prior to joining eHI, Diane was with Camden Consulting, offering strategic counsel on Health IT and Medicare coverage legislative and regulatory issues to companies and associations. Previously, Diane served as Director of Industry Relations for Microsoft's Health Solutions Group; Director of Public Affairs for the Health Group of Eastman Kodak Company, where her work focused on medical device regulations and medical imaging coverage and payment issues; senior health policy analyst with the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare; and a legislative assistant for members of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. Diane has a J.D. from Boston University School of Law and A.B. from Brown University.

Tricia McCarthy Tricia P. McCarthy
is Vice President of Finance and Operations for the eHealth Initiative and its Foundation. Tricia is responsible for overseeing all financial planning and management aspects of the organization. Her area of responsibilities include financial statement reporting to the Board of Directors, budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis, management of existing contracts and grants, financial analysis and pricing of all new grants and contracts, as well as overseeing the accounting and human resources functions. Prior to eHI, Tricia worked for Exostar, a B2B e-commerce marketplace, as a Finance Manager. In this position, Tricia was responsible for managing the company budget, analyzing financial statements, performing breakeven analyses, creating profitability models and managing cash. Tricia also communicated financial results to the Executive Team and the Board of Directors. In addition, Tricia spent six years at the National Committee for Quality Assurance as a Senior Manager where she served many roles, including managing customer service, administrative services and publications. Tricia earned a M.B.A from George Mason University with a concentration in Finance, and a B.A. in Political Science from Boston University.

Beth Pernerewski Beth Pernerewski
is the Event Manager for eHealth Initiative. In this role, Beth is responsible for the logistical coordination of eHI's Annual Conference, National Forum on HIE, and other meetings and webinars that take place throughout the year. Prior to joining eHI, Beth spent several years planning meetings and events for government, non-profit and private sector companies. She also spent time as a project manager for a biotech company. Beth holds an MBA from Jones International University and a BA in political science from Fordham University.

Alexander Seabrook Alexander Seabrook Jr.
serves as the Online Communications Manager (OCM) at eHealth Initiative. As OCM, Alex is responsible for the management of email marketing communications and distribution, web content management and development of the eHealth Initiative website, blog, and store, and is the internal point-of-contact for our IT services. In addition to these roles he is also responsible for the design and implementation of online applications, media production, providing software training for our staff, and a contributing member of the eHI Values Work Group. Prior to eHealth Initiative, Alex worked for InTranS Group, a French company responsible for the integration and operation of mission critical systems, as a software and hardware engineer and John Tyler Community College as an Intranet Coordinator with the responsibility of developing, implementing, and maintaining an internal website and content management system from the ground up. He has a BA in Multimedia Communications from James Madison University's School of Media Arts and Design and a BA-equivalent degree from Nanzan University in Foreign Language and Culture from the Center for Japanese Studies. He is fluent in Japanese.
