Gary Zegiestowsky - Biography

Gary ZegiestowskyGary Zegiestowsky is the Chief Executive Officer of Informatics Corporation of America (ICA). In late 2005, Mr. Zegiestowsky co-founded ICA with Vanderbilt Medical Center to take technology developed at Vanderbilt to the broader healthcare market. ICA's solution offers an unmatched approach to interoperability by harnessing the full value of core systems and building on them with decision-making tools at the point of care. With this solution, ICA's mission is to drive quality outcomes and clinical effectiveness across an enterprise or a community.

Prior to founding ICA, Mr. Zegiestowsky served as COO of a $500 million division of Cendant Corporation serving 6,500 clients and 40 million customers. He began his career with General Electric in Market Development and also served as a director of the Strategy Consulting Practice with Andersen Worldwide. Mr. Zegiestowsky has been a recent speaker at several HIMSS events including Texas and New Jersey.

A magna cum laude graduate of West Virginia University, Zegiestowsky holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
