Daniel Treadwell has an MBA from the University of Toledo and an MS in Physical Education/Kinesiology from Cal State East Bay. He is employed by the Federal Aviation Administration as Logistics Manager for FAA telecommunications programs. Previously he worked for the Coast Guard and the Navy doing similar work. In 2007 he had open heart surgery in order to replace a bicuspid aortic valve with a mechanical heart valve. Heart block was experienced following the surgery and a pacemaker was implanted to prevent bradycardia. Daniel is an exercise and nutrition proponent, and is also the Secretary of the Washington DC chapter of Mended Hearts.
